Jacob Huff, Zeke Cernea, and Katie Cernea founded Gem City Gymnastics and Tumbling, LLC. in 2006. It is the premier gymnastics, tumbling, and all star cheer facility in the tri-state region surrounding Quincy, Illinois. The gym is a 16,000 square foot air-conditioned facility.
Both Jacob and Zeke could be found in the gym at a very young age as athletes. Then they coached for many years at Quincy Gymnastics under Randy Parrish. The two realized they had a strong passion for gymnastics, tumbling, and working with children. Randy Parrish passed down the torch after 23 years of ownership and coaching at Quincy Gymnastics.
Gem City serves hundreds of families each week through its teams, classes and other offered services. These include gymnastics, tumbling, and cheer classes and competitive teams. Plus, Gem City offers private lessons, clinics, birthday parties, and field trips.
